Presentation

S.C. Comautoprest S.R.L. was set up in 1994 and its main profile was the general reconditioning of internal combustion engines. Our company even from its foundation, due to rapid development of engines by the constructors and manufacturers, has also developed, therefore we can keep up to date.

The above mentioned reconditioning is performed on a wide range of vehicles; from motorcycles, cars and agricultural machineries to trucks, regardless of the engine type.

We carry through all reconditioning operations  using high precision machine-tools at the highest technological level.

Thanks to over 25 years of experience and development, our customers benefit from the most complex engine reconditioning services, as we can keep up to date with the most advanced engine designs thanks to continuous improvements, for instance:

  • Remove and mount internal combustion engines on work bench
  • Verify and diagnose components
  • Renew engine components through various technological solutions
  • General cylinder head renewal
  • Engine blocks renewal
  • Oversized drilling, engine blocks  honing
  • Manufacture cylinder nut
  • Metal-sprayed coating the main shaft, engine blocks, camshaft and other components
  • General reconditioning of internal combustion engines within our program ,,ready to drive”

One of the significant developments of our company regarding modern internal combustion engines is the manufacture and installation of the bimetallic cylinder nuts in the engine, which can count as an own innovation. As one of the most important factors in terms of functioning of modern engines today is the perfect heat transmission, this technology or manufacturing procedure means creating a cylinder nut, which made of cast iron, then metal-spray coated with coiled electrode, is provided with a layer of aluminum or copper. Due to this layer applied by metal spray coating, the  heat transfer of engine blocks made of aluminium is significantly improved, thus increasing the life of the internal combustion engine.
